Microsoft have just announced that UAG 2010 SP3 will come in Q1 2013.
The SP3 will add support for:
- Windows 8 with Internet Explorer 10 clients
- Office 2013 clients (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Publishing Exchange 2013
- Publishing SharePoint 2013
- RDP 8.0 client for Windows 7 SP1

You can set IE10 to work in IE9 mode. Press F12 when using Desktop IE10 and change the mode to IE9. In Metro IE10 I do not know of a workaround. Also the Endpoint Components will not work in Win 8 until SP3.

Per discussions with the Forefront team, sp3 may not be released despite initial progress.
